Help chapters develop and hold fundraising activities to increase the number of available scholarships for qualified candidates.
Accept a position on the executive board of a chapter. Positions include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, membership director, fundraising or social directors, and chapter advisors.
Mentor scholarship candidates and help them meet the qualifications necessary to obtain a scholarship and be successful at their new career.
Teach English to Spanish speakers. Lack of English is often a barrier to further education or career advancement.
Represent your business or profession and engage with career seeking HisLatos. Help them determine their interests and assist them with interview skills, application skills, and job retention skills.
